Are you exercising your FEAR muscle?

When someone is interested in becoming stronger, or more fit,  they usually go to the gym; do calisthenics or other types of exercise … I recently resumed doing pushups and crunches to increase my fitness and it is so cool to see the difference it makes! There is an interesting corelationg here … when we are routinely triggered by stress, fear and overwhelm, those “muscles” that react and respond for the purpose of keep us safe, become stronger and stronger.

If you are like me, you really don’t want to be triggered by fear, anger or self-doubt day in and day out. So, what can be done?! There are a couple of things I reccomend  1. First, be curious about WHY you are experiencing this particular emotional response and then … 2. Do some focused “Tapping” Emotional Freedom Techniques on it, to prevent the response from become stronger.
